I pretty much siphoned all of my knowledge for boomkin from EJ forums. Their Moonkin Guide for Dummies really is a great start for Boomkin raiding. It has great info about starter specs, buffs, rotations, stat degrees, etc.

I should not that I separate my Faerie Fire spell from my Macro since it's a 5min. debuff. This way I'm not wasting a GCD everytime I restart my rotation.
For raiding I use a spell rotation macro followed by two button spamming. My macro is as follows:

/castsequence reset=7 Insect Swarm, Moonfire, Wrath

This is followed by Wrath casting until Lunar Eclipse procs then spamming Starfire until proc ends then refreshing Moonfire, and continue spamming Starfire until approx. 6 sec. left in the HCD then start my macro rotation again. I left a 7 second reset for movement purposes, if I have move I don't lose the sequence. Also it's important to keep Moonfire up 100% of the time. For pure dps calcs I use the WrathCalcs Spreadsheet for determining dps rotations in current gear. For determining BiS gear and whether a piece is going to be useful I use RAWR for gear comparison and keep it updated constantly. This is why it takes me a bit of time to decide on gear, because if I'm not sure, I'm typically checking RAWR. That's my two cents, you can armory me for my thoughts on best Boomkin spec and Glyphs. Also, I do want to point out that I'm not including any hardmode gear as my BiS, simply because we probably won't get hardmode on farm status anytime soon. So the Staff of Endless Winter is something I'm not including as my BiS, but Intensity is in my BiS list as well as Rapture.
